The man who caused a serious Sheboygan drunk driving accident last July was recently sentenced to 30 days in prison after pleading guilty to felony drunk driving charges.

John Krizenesky, 65, was sentenced to jail in relation to a July 2013 accident that caused the injury of Malachi Blanke, 8. Blanke was playing in the front yard of his grandparents’ house when Krizenesky drunkenly drove into a utility pole causing attached power lines to fall on Blanke. Blake suffered from electrical burns that cover 20% of his body. Since the accident, Blanke has undergone numerous surgical procedures.
