Three students of Clement Avenue School were injured in an accident while on their way to school, wkow.com reported on September 4.

According to reports, the incident happened in the Bay View neighborhood around 7:00 a.m. Milwaukee Fire responded to a reported pedestrian accident that involved three students ages 10 to 11. The children were taken to the hospital for minor injuries. Crash investigators stated the vehicle that hit the students had a mechanical problem that may have prevented the driver from avoiding the crash.
