Foster Farms is recalling almost 40,000 lbs of possibly bacteria-tainted chicken products that have been shipped to several states, an article on KTLA 5 reported on September 26.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the 3.5-lbs packages of “Chicken Breast Grilled Strips” may be contaminated with the harmful Listeria bacteria. The processed chicken products were already shipped to Washington, Texas, Utah, and California before the problem was identified. Elderly, newborns, and pregnant women are at the highest risk of suffering from health risks from consuming foods tainted with Listeria. Symptoms may include stiff neck, confusion, muscle aches, fever, and loss of balance.

The lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. understand that many people in Milwaukee alone suffer from debilitating health conditions after eating contaminated food products. In this difficult situation, getting a lawyer’s help is important especially if you will need finances to cover your medications.
