When should I file for compensation?

Posted on November 6, 2014 9:00 am under Personal Injury

If you intend to recover damages sustained in a personal injury accident , timing is everything. Typically, there is three year statute of limitations within which an individual must file a personal injury claim. If the claim is not made within those three years, any claim made thereafter is likely to be dismissed by the court. However, there are exceptions to these general timetables and you should consult with a legal adviser to better determine whether you may still be able to file a claim if more than three years have elapsed since the time of your injury.
