A two-car crash happened on southbound I-94 north of W. College Avenue on Monday, January 5, leaving one Milwaukee man dead and another one injured, Fox6 reported.
At around 2:06 a.m., a pick-up truck was rear-ended by a semi truck while stalled in traffic. The 28-year-old passenger of the pick-up truck, Brandon Williams, was immediately pronounced dead on the scene. On the other hand, the 31-year-old driver of the pick-up truck sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. He was later arrested for operating on a suspended license resulting in death. This is a Class H Felony; the sentence for a conviction of this charge could be up to 6 years in prison. The driver of the semi truck, meanwhile, was not harmed in the collision.
The exact cause of death has yet to be officially determined. The Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation of this incident.
