A truck driver was killed on January 7 in a collision on I-94 that involved three semi trailer trucks, River Towns reported.
Reports coming from the State Patrol said the three-semi crash happened before 3:00 a.m. on the west lane of Interstate 94 in Eu Claire County. In the initial investigation, it appeared that the first semi was slowing to park on the shoulder in order to possibly address a mechanical issue. The second truck that drove into the back of the first truck reportedly was stuck by a third. The operator of the second semi died in the collision while the two other drivers were treated at the hospital. Identities of the drivers involved in the collision are currently being withheld. The Wisconsin State Patrol still working to gather more information about the incident.
