Gilster-Mary Lee Corp. cereal recalled for unlisted almonds

Gilster-Mary Lee Corp. of Illinois has issued a voluntary nationwide recall of a single lot of Market Pantry Honey & Oat Mixers Ready to Eat cereal because of unlisted almonds, a press statement published by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration stated on Wednesday, January 14.

The recalled products were sold in an 18-oz carton package across different Target stores nationwide. It bears a Best By date of SEP 30 15 P4 (UPC# 85239-90824). The company learned about the undeclared ingredient after receiving a complaint from a consumer.

Consumers are asked to dispose of the product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
