Man plowing snow dies in a two-vehicle collision

The vulnerability of all-terrain vehicles on the road is a real concern, even on snowy days when they need to be put to use. This was again revealed in a tragic accident in the Town of Leeds on February 2. A man plowing snow with an all-terrain vehicle was killed after being struck by a pick-up truck at around 1:30 p.m., the Wisconsin State Journal reported.

77-year-old Russel Baerwolf of DeForest was driving south on Kroncke Road south of Highway K when the ATV he was controlling was hit by a Ford F350 Super Duty truck that was also driving in the same direction. Baerwolf was rushed to the UW Hospital, but tragically died the following day due to his injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the pick-up truck, 37-year-old Chad Herbrand, was not hurt.

The thoughts and prayers of our legal team at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® go out to the family and loved ones affected by this tragedy.
