Marin Mountain Bikes Inc. issued a nationwide recall of approximately 400 of its bikes due to handlebars that may detach and pose risk of injurious crashes, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reported on February 10.

The recalled Marin MBX 50 Boys Bicycles and Marin Tiny Trail Girls Bicycles have serial numbers HA14980XXXXXX and HA14982XXXXXX, respectively, which can be seen at the bottom of the bike’s downtube. The bikes were sold between September 2013 and December 2014 at different bicycle stores nationwide. Affected consumers are asked to contact the company to replace the defective handlebars.
