Two teenagers suffered serious injuries in Milwaukee after they were struck by a vehicle, an article on ABC 12 reported February 18.

Reports coming from the Milwaukee Police said the pedestrian accident happened at around 3:00 p.m. near the intersection of Blue Mound Road and 62nd Street. Two 16-year-old teenagers, whose identities were not released, reportedly were both struck by a pickup truck heading east from Blue Mound Road. The vehicle driver, only identified as 29-year-old male from Milwaukee, remained at the crash scene. The two girls were hospitalized, but are expected to make a full recovery.

Many locals say that few people adhere to the 30 mph speed limit on that road. Dennis James, who works near the accident scene, said that it was the fourth time that an accident occurred in the area since May last year.
