Posted on March 24, 2015 3:04 pm under Drunk Driving Accident

Mount Pleasant authorities arrested a Racine pickup driver who was suspected of intoxication and had left the scene of an accident, WISN reported on March 15.

Police arrested and charged 49-year-old Robert Ritthaler for intoxicated-related offenses on March 14 after the vehicle he was operating struck another vehicle that then caused damage to a nearby garage on Highway 32. Fortunately, no one reportedly sustained injuries in the collision. A witness to the crash followed Ritthaler’s vehicle as he left the scene, and he was later arrested on Highway 32 after authorities detected signs of intoxication from him.
