Linon Home Décor Products’ wooden patio chairs prone to tip over

New York-based Linon Home Décor Products Inc. issued a voluntary recall of approximately 3,300 of its foldable Outdoor Wood Bistro chairs after receiving reports that the wooden chairs may tip-over when users sit on the edge of the seat, causing the user to fall, the U.S Consumer Safety Product Commission stated on March 25.

The affected outdoor patio chairs were sold either individually or as a set of two chairs and a table between February 2014 and February 2015 at Daily Fair, Home Goods, Marshalls, T.J. Maxx, Old Time Pottery, and Bed Bath & Beyond stores nationwide. The company has already received four reports of tip-overs, two of which resulted in minor injuries.

Consumers are asked to return the product to the store of purchase for a full refund.
