Two people were recently killed and three others were injured in a two-vehicle accident that took place in the west portion of Milwaukee, a Journal Sentinel article stated on March 27.
Reports said the fatal car accident happened at around 3:30 p.m. on March 25 in the vicinity of Hi-Mount Boulevard and W. Lloyd Street. According to Milwaukee authorities, a stolen vehicle operated by 18-year-old Gerald Harper crashed into a vehicle driven by an unnamed 47-year-old man and occupied by Marquise Tate, 16, and Jamar Canady, 16. Canady and Tate both died while Harper, the other male car driver, and a 17-year-old teen riding in the stolen vehicle all reportedly sustained injuries in the wreck.
Charges of reckless driving resulting in homicide and operating a vehicle with an invalid license causing death were filed against Harper on March 27. Harper was scheduled to make a court appearance on April 3.
