A female recently was injured after the bicycle she was riding crashed into a vehicle in the Madison area, an April 10 article of WKOW stated.
According to reports, at around 7:15 p.m., a bicyclist identified only as a 24-year-old woman crashed into a vehicle near the intersection of N. Franklin Street and E. Johnson Street. The woman reportedly lost consciousness as a result of the impact. The woman was then transported by paramedics to a hospital due to a head injury she sustained from the bicycle accident. The vehicle driver, only identified as a 55-year-old man, was cited for failing to yield, as he drove his vehicle to the bike lane.
