Gorsuch Ltd. of Avon, Colorado issued a recall of about 300 ERTLRENZ Trim Heat and Foam Heat ski boot liners after learning that the products could overheat while charging, which may possibly cause fire, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on April 21.

The affected heated boot liners are handmade and customized, and were sold with a remote control and a charger for heating. The company has currently received three reports of smoldering while the products were charging. No injuries have yet been associated with the reports.

Consumers are asked to return the products together with the accompanying components for a free repair or full product refund.
