Consumer snack company Superior Nut & Candy Co., has issued a nationwide voluntary recall of its 4-ounce packages of Pine Nuts after learning about possible Salmonella contamination, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported on April 20.

The affected products were sold in packages with a clear front and a tan-colored label at the back. The recalled products have a UPC of 72549320016 and a Best By date ranging from 10/22/2015 to 12/27/2015, which can be found at the back of the package. The company learned about possible Salmonella contamination after a routine check conducted by the FDA.

Consumers are asked to return the products to the point of purchase to get a full refund.
