According to reports, four of the 15 people were listed in critical condition after a Pacific Gas & Electric Corp. pipeline exploded at around 2:30 p.m. on April 17. Fresno Fire Department spokesperson Peter Martinez said the explosion occurred after a pipe was hit by heavy equipment near state Highway 99. Roads and a nearby railroad were closed during the explosion.
