Inventure Foods’ frozen vegetables and smoothie kits recalled

Posted on May 4, 2015 4:25 pm under Defective Food Product

Arizona-based Inventure Foods, Inc., has recalled some of its Fresh Frozen vegetables products and Jamba At Home Smoothie kits after learning that the affected products might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, a report by the U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) stated on April 23.

The affected Fresh Frozen vegetable products have been distributed in different states across the country, including Wisconsin. On the other hand, the recalled line of Jamba At Home Smoothie kits have been delivered to different retail outlets and supermarkets on the states east of the Mississippi River.

Listeria may cause severe health complications, especially among vulnerable populations. If you have been harmed by a contaminated food item in Appleton, you might be eligible to file a claim against the food producer involved.
