About 9,073,384 pounds of beef and chicken products were recalled by Golden Krust Patties after learning that the products contain undeclared egg, which may cause an allergic reaction to those sensitive to it, the U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) reported on April 29.
The FSIS released a detailed list of products covered by the recall. The affected products were produced between January 24, 2014 and February 26, 2015, and bear an expiration date from January 24, 2015 to February 26, 2016. The affected meat products have the establishment code “EST. 18781 and P-18781,” which can be found inside the Department of Agriculture’s mark of inspection.
