A man in northern Madison suffered from injuries after a Dane County officer operating a squad car crashed into him, Channel 3000 stated on May 21.
Reports provided by the Madison Police revealed that on May 20 a pedestrian accident occurred on Aberg Avenue near Sherman Avenue. A squad car driven by the sheriff’s deputy, whose name was not released, struck a pedestrian that he failed to notice on the crossway due to a vehicle blocking his sight. The pedestrian, only known as a 63-year-old man, sustained minor injuries, including road rash and bruises. A citation of failing to yield was later given to the deputy.
