Exercise caution when backing out of the driveway

Posted on June 8, 2015 11:58 am under Car Accidents

Backing out from your driveway seems to be a very mundane task – you enter the car, start the engine, check your side and rear mirrors, and put the car in reverse. However, there are instances when children manage to get behind a car, making them at risk of being backed over.

There are spots at the back area of your car that may not be visible in your rear and side mirrors. As such, it is important to remind children not to get near the vehicle until you back away from the driveway. You may also choose to install reverse sensors and backup aids to help you back out from your driveway safely.

At Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ®, we help Appleton residents who have been involved in driveway accidents hold the party responsible for their actions. Call us at (414) 271-0900 to learn more about taking legal action today.
