Walgreen’s is recalling its Nice! Powdered Sugar Mini Donuts after receiving customer complaints about mold seen on some of the products, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) stated on June 10.

The recalled products are sold in 11.5 oz packages at Walgreens stores nationwide. The products have WIC number 178206 and UPC number 4902264948, both of which can be found next to the product’s nutrition facts. Customers are asked to return the product at any Walgreen outlets for a complete refund.

Signs and symptoms of mold ingestion may appear 1 to 3 days after exposure, and may include diarrhea, enteritis (inflammation of the small intestine), nausea, cramps, headache, and skin and eye irritations.

Food contaminated with mold may cause serious health effects that can be life-threatening, especially to those with weakened immune systems.
