HomeGoods swing chairs recalled due to reports of fall injuries

Posted on June 11, 2015 11:27 am under Product Liability

HomeGoods is recalling around 250 red apple-shaped and brown teardrop-shaped swing chairs because the may tip over easily, according to a report by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on June 11.

The swing chairs are suspended from a chain with a circular base. The plastic rattan products have red seat cushions and were sold at HomeGood stores nationwide between March and May of 2015. To date, the company has received 11 reports of tip-overs, 4 of which resulted in injuries. Consumers are asked to return the product immediately to a HomeGood outlet for a full refund.
