Charlotte, NC-based Positec Tool Corp. is recalling approximately 24,300 Worx electric blower/vacs over fears that the device’s grounded and ungrounded wiring could be reversed, causing shock hazard among consumers, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission stated on June 24.

The affected products were sold at Walmart and Menards outlets nationwide between January 2015 and May 2015. Model number WG507 and serial number ranging from 201418000134 to 201418018263, 201418018268 to 201418021382, and 201511000379 to 201511001397 can be seen at the back of the motor housing.

No reports of injuries have been associated with the defective product. Consumers are asked to return the affected product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
