At least five industrial workers suffered injuries in an explosion that happened at their workplace in Poway on June 5, according to a Fox 5 report.
Information coming from authorities revealed the blast occurred at the facility of Quantum Energy Storage. A witness told reports that the explosion occurred at about 12:50 p.m. Emergency personnel reportedly responded to the scene and transported four workers to a nearby hospital, while another received treatment at the scene. All the injuries were considered to be non-life threatening, authorities said. Several local units were called to investigate the blast. Quantum Energy has not released a statement regarding the explosion as of reporting.
