Inflatable baby floats recalled due to risk of drowning

Posted on July 1, 2015 9:08 am under Defective Child Care Products

California-based Otteroo Corporation is recalling around 3,000 Otteroo Inflatable Baby Floats after receiving reports that the product’s seam may leak air, increasing the risk of drowning, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reported on July 1.

The defective floats were sold online between January 2014 and July 2014 at Zuliliy.com, Amazon.com, and Otteroo.com. The word “Otteroo” is printed on the float in orange color with the Otter logo on its right.

The company has already received 54 reports of air leaks. Affected consumers are asked to contact the company for a free product replacement.
