A child was saved by a teenager from drowning in a Waukesha apartment complex pool, Fox News reported on July 17.

Reports said authorities responded to an indoor swimming pool at Kensington Drive after being notified of a near-drowning incident at around 6:30 p.m. A boy, identified only as an 8-year-old, was seen by Dianna Warchol and son David, 14, under the water. According to David, he jumped into the water after noticing the boy under the water for a few minutes. David, who was assisted by other individuals, expelled the water from the boy’s body by attempting CPR. The boy was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
