Perham, MN-based food manufacturer Barrel O’ Fun Snack Foods Co. is recalling one lot of Vic’s Original White Popcorn after learning that the product may contain undeclared milk, posing risk of allergic reactions to people hypersensitive to it, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration revealed on Monday, July 20.

The recalled lot has UPC 0-46555-00062-1, a Best By date of 09DEC2015, and a Manufacture Code of 5195M75. No other lots are covered by the recall. Investigation conducted by the company revealed that the mislabeling occurred as a result of a temporary glitch in the company’s production and packaging processes.

The products were distributed to six U.S. states, including Wisconsin.

Individuals allergic to milk may suffer from hives, wheezing, vomiting, abdominal cramps, and other hypersensitivity reactions minutes or hours after exposure to milk-containing products.
