Arctic Cat is recalling about 2,700 of its model year 2014 Arctic Cat Prowler 500 HDX and some of its 2015 Prowler 500 HDX models after learning that a defective fuel fitting at the car’s throttle body may leak fuel and cause fire, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) stated on Tuesday, July 28.

The recall covers all 2014 Arctic Cat Prowler 500 HDX. 2015 Prowler 500 HDX models affected by the recall are vehicles with VIN ranging from 303194 to 305166. The units were sold at different Arctic Cat dealers nationwide between August 2013 and July 2015, and were made available in colors emerald green metallic, vibrant red metallic, green, or red.
