Sugar-free milk chocolate caramels recalled over unlisted cashew nuts

Fears of allergic reaction over undeclared cashew prompt Michigan-based Kilwin’s Quality Confections, Inc. to recall its SUGAR FREE Milk Chocolate Caramels, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration reported on Friday, July 31.

The recalled products were sold between March 19, 2015 and July 29, 2015 at different Kilwins retail stores located in 12 different states, including Wisconsin. The recalled products have a batch code of 82461 printed on the back side of the package. Consumers are asked to return the mislabeled food product to the place of purchase to get a full refund.
