The Appleton police are conducting an investigation regarding the recent two unrelated dog attacks that happened on the same day, an article by postcrescent.com reported on Aug. 13.
Reports said the two dog attack incidents both took place on Aug. 10. In the first incident an individual identified as 12-year-old girl was with a friend while riding her bicycle and was attacked by a dog, possibly owned by a 50-year-old man. The girl reportedly suffered from multiples bruises and scratches after the attack. In the second incident, a man about six-feet tall let go of his pitbull to attack another dog. In both incidents the dog owners ran away after the attack. Authorities are asking for the public’s help on whether they know any information about the two attacks.
