Deep Coriander Powder jars recalled over Salmonella risk

Three hundred jars of 14.1 oz Deep Coriander Powder are being recalled by Chetak New York LLC after testing positive for Salmonella in a routine test conducted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the FDA reported Thursday, August 20.

The affected products bear Lot # LE15152 and UPC number 011433134347. The recalled jars were sold between July 30, 2015 and August 13, 20145 in different retail stores nationwide. Consumers are asked to return the recalled products to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers are also asked to seek medical help immediately for any signs and symptoms of Salmonella infection after consuming the product.
