Kraft Heinz Foods Company is recalling about 2,068,467 pounds of turkey bacon products after learning that the products might be contaminated because it may spoil before the “Best When Used By” date, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) stated on Tuesday, August 25.

Products affected by the recall have an establishment number of “P-9070” and a line number of “RS19.” Affected brand names and their respective Product UPC and “Best When Used By” dates are detailed in the FSIS report. The products were produced between May 31, 2015 and August 6, 2015, and were shipped to different locations nationwide.

FSIS learned about the issue after investigating consumer complaints regarding spoilage. Affected consumers are asked to seek a healthcare provider immediately for any adverse effects related to the issue.
