Some homes in the south western portion of Miami-Dade county sustained damages after a propane tank inside a food truck erupted, an article from CBS Miami reported on August 27.

According to reports, the huge blast that tore down a food truck took place in a residential area at 1970 SW 57th Place. Though no one was reportedly injured in the blast that investigators said came from a propane tank inside the truck, nearby residents felt movement from the blast while inside the comfort of their homes. Miami-Dade Fire and Rescue confirmed that some homes suffered minimal damage from the blast. Authorities who investigated the blast believed that it was an accident.
