BFGoodrich Tires recalls over defective side walls

BFGoodrich Tires is set to recall about 129,000 tires, approximately 104,000 of which are in the U.S., after receiving reports of loss of tire pressure due to sidewalls that may rupture and leak air, BFGoodrich said in a press statement on Monday, August 10.

Eight models are affected by this recall: BFGoodrich Commercial T/A All-Season 2, BFGoodrich Commercial T/A All-Season 2, BFGoodrich Commercial T/A All-Season 2, BFGoodrich Commercial T/A All-Season 2, BFGoodrich Rugged Terrain T/A, BFGoodrich Rugged Terrain T/A, BFGoodrich Commercial T/A All-Season 2, and BFGoodrich Commercial T/A All-Season used by light trucks, and full-sized heavy duty vans, among other types of commercial and recreational vehicles. Details about load range, MSPN, DOT sequence, and DOT production periods are included in the press release.

Customers are advised to stop using the products and to contact the company for a free replacement.
