A woman who was recently bitten by a bulldog remained at Kenosha Medical Center after undergoing surgery, an article from Kenosha News reported late last month.
The victim, only identified as a 52-year-old Kenosha woman, was attacked by a dog on August 19th after the canine initially attacked a 30-year-old woman. According to reports, the bulldog was already restrained after attacking the first woman when it escaped and attacked the second woman. A police officer that responded to the scene was also attacked by the dog, and then accidentally hit the 52-year-old woman with a taser while trying to stop the dog. She also suffered from a gunshot wound to her foot after one of the bullets fired went through the dog’s body and hit her. Dog owner Shawn Lievense, who was not present during the attack, is expected to get citations, authorities said.
