Supplements recalled over cancer and blood pressure risks

Posted on September 16, 2015 12:52 pm under Product Liability

The One Minute Miracle Inc. is recalling Miracle 30 and Miracle 48 capsules voluntarily over differing concerns. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s analysis, the products are being recalled nationwide due to undeclared drug ingredients, rendering them unapproved.

The Miracle 48 contains the undeclared ingredient thiosildenafil, which may cause a fatal and drastic drop in blood pressure. The affected products are packaged in two blister packages of 2-count capsules with 4 capsules per box. The product has a June 1, 2018 expiration date.

Miracle 30 has the undeclared ingredient phenolphthalein, which may cause cancer when used for extended periods of time. The affected products are dietary supplements packaged in 30-count plastic bottle with the same expiration date as the Miracle 48.

The company is informing the consumers of the recall through the United States Postal Service.
