An early morning pedestrian accident on Saturday, September 5, resulted in the death of 51-year-old Anthony Minardi after he was struck and killed by a drunk driver. Minardi’s sister, Stephanie, is seeking to understand why the suspect in this case would hit her brother and leave him for dead, and has vowed to follow the case very closely until its conclusion.
The police closed lanes in both directions after the tragic accident occurred in the 4100 block of Nakoosa Trail on Madison’s east side. Madison Police recently named a suspect in this case, who is reportedly receiving medical treatment at a local hospital for injuries unrelated to this accident.
The suspect has been charged with Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle and Failure to Render Aid and is expected to be booked into Dane County Jail.
Our Madison lawyers at Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® extend their deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victim.
