A car crash on 128th Street and Green Bay Road in Pleasant Prairie left five people injured, including two young children, according to Sgt. Pete Jung of the Pleasant Prairie Police Department. The accident occurred at around 5:25 p.m. on Thursday, October 1.
The two children, who were taken to the hospital by the Flight for Life helicopter, were passengers in one vehicle driven by a 39-year-old woman. The car was traveling in the southbound lane on Green Bay Road and was trying to turn onto 128th Street when it collided with a northbound vehicle. The woman and another 36-year-old passenger were taken to St. Catherine’s Medical Center.
The northbound vehicle rolled over and landed on its side. The driver, a 20-year-old Kenosha man, was also taken to the hospital.
According to Jung, all individuals involved in the crash were assisted by Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue. Investigations are on-going.
