Milwaukee Police responded to a vehicular accident at around 6 p.m. on Monday November 2 when a 47-year-old motorcyclist headed southbound on Miller Park Way approaching Lincoln Avenue was struck by a vehicle coming from the north and making a left-hand turn on the same street.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene after the accident, but he failed the sobriety tests given by the authorities. He was eventually arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was in critical condition when brought to the hospital.

When drivers choose to get behind the wheel while intoxicated, innocent people get hurt.
