A 35-year-old woman was killed at around 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 5 after being hit by a car near 20th and Bolivar Streets in Milwaukee. Police officers tried reviving her at the scene of the crash, but were unsuccessful.
Two teenagers connected to the crash were arrested after the police found the vehicle that hit the victim’s car in Franklin the next day. The teens were believed to be passengers in the vehicle at the time of the collision, according to police reports. The 19-year-old driver of the vehicle turned himself in to police on Saturday.
While authorities were searching for the responsible parties after the crash, friends of the victim were mourning her loss. One friend said of the deceased, “No matter what was going on in your life, she would still stick by you.”
