A 24-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene of a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday, November 8th near the Waukesha County village of Nashotah. The crash happened at around 7:00 p.m. on Highway 16 west of Highway C.

According to a release by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department, the 24-year-old man’s Chevrolet Malibu was traveling eastbound on Highway 16 when it crossed the center line and veered into the westbound lane. It struck a Dodge Caravan being driven by a 68-year-old man from Waterman. The 68-year-old female victim was a passenger in the Dodge.

The third vehicle, a Chevrolet Blazer, crashed with the Caravan after the driver, a 37-year-old Oconomowoc woman, did not see the other crash and struck the vehicle. Both the driver of the Caravan and the driver of the Blazer were taken to the hospital to receive treatment for non-life threatening injuries sustained in the collision.

The accident is still being investigated by the Waukesha authorities.
