I-94 crash injures three

Posted on December 14, 2015 3:19 pm under Car Accidents

Earlier this months on December 6, three lanes of I-94 westbound were closed for hours after rollover accident involving a semi-truck took place near Barker Road. The truck apparently hit a traffic barrier at around 6:00 a.m. Two other vehicles then crashed into the truck’s trailer.

The truck’s driver was thrown out of the vehicle but did not sustain any injuries. The passenger of the truck, however, had to be extricated from the vehicle and brought to Froedtert Hospital after sustaining non-life threatening injuries.

The drivers of the two other vehicles, along with another passenger, sustained injuries but are expected to survive.

Lieutenant Paul Beal from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department stated that it is “extremely rare” for a driver of any kind of vehicle to survive that kind of accident, according to a report by Fox6Now. The reason for the accident remains unknown.
