On December 11, three teenage boys from Sun Prairie sustained injuries when their SUV struck another vehicle and rolled several times in the 700 block of Wilburn Road. According to Sun Prairie police Sergeant Jason Lefeber, the SUV was attempting to pass a second vehicle on the road when that vehicle began to make a left turn and the two collided. Reports showed that the teenagers’ SUV was being driven at a very high rate of speed.

One of the teenagers sustained a broken collarbone, a broken sternum and a punctured lung. Another teenager suffered a hand injury and several cuts. The third teenager sustained several cuts and a broken ankle, femur, and wrist. The driver of the other vehicle was left uninjured.
