Posted on December 30, 2015 5:36 pm under Car Accidents

A 62-year-old man from the Town of West Bend was driving his 2012 Honda Civic northbound on Highway 144 when he stopped to make a turn onto the Interstate 41 ramp. While he was waiting for the southbound traffic to pass before making the turn, his vehicle was rear-ended by a dark pickup truck, according to a report by Fox 6 Now.

Based on a report by the investigators from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, one of the people inside the pickup truck jumped inside the victim’s vehicle after the 62-year-old man stepped out to assess the damage. The suspect then proceeded to drive the stolen vehicle away while the driver of the pickup truck also fled the scene. The officers described the suspect as a white male in his 20s with a thin build and a height of around 5’8 to 5’10. The suspect was said to be wearing a grey hooded jacket.

The victim did not sustain significant injuries, and his vehicle, with plate number 106-TZA, is still missing.
