According to the Wisconsin State Journal, a head-on collision on Highway 14 near Riley Road in Porter left three people injured on January 14. The report stated that 20-year-old Alexander Hance was traveling east on the highway when his car crossed over the median and hit another car driven by 63-year-old Kathie Gunn.
According to the authorities, Hance sustained life-threatening injuries and was initially brought to Mercy Hospital in Janesville but was transferred to Rockford Memorial Hospital. His 26-year-old passenger, Leigha Morris, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital. 63-year-old Gunn was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital and has since been treated and released.
Authorities discovered drugs inside Hance’s vehicle. He was cited for operating left of center and for possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the report. Morris, on the other hand, was tentatively charged with possession of a Schedule II narcotic and possession of drugs. She was ordered to make a court appearance.
