Woman injured in Fond du Lac crash

Posted on March 6, 2016 11:00 pm under Personal Injury

On February 20 at around 9:30 p.m., two SUVs crashed in front of an establishment near Arndt and Follett streets in Fond du Lac, according to the FDL Reporter. A woman, Laurel Shipton, was injured and remained at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee the next day for surgery. A spokesperson from the hospital stated that Shipton’s condition was stable.

The officers from the Fond du Lac Police department responded to the 200 block of North Main Street. After witnesses detailed that someone fled the scene, the officers searched for the driver, but they were later informed that they had already interviewed the driver. Confusion arose as to who was actually driving and whether or not more people fled the scene of the accident before the authorities arrived.
