Two women from Oshkosh were recently killed in an accident in Washington County when the vehicle they were riding in was involved in a head-on collision with a semi-truck, an article on wisn.com reported on March 24.
At about 11:15 a.m., authorities from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle accident in the southbound lane of Interstate 41. The two women inside a northbound vehicle, whom authorities believed were sisters, reportedly crashed into a semi-truck traveling in the opposite lane. The vehicle occupied by the two women, ages 15 and 24, veered into the opposite lane due to traveling at inappropriate speeds for weather conditions at the time, initial investigations revealed. The two women reportedly were found dead at the accident scene. The semi-truck driver, only identified as a 61-year-old, did not suffer injuries from the incident.
