The Houston Fire Department personnel responded to a blast and fire that took place at a home on Glen Maor, north of Houston. The injured persons, who were only identified as a 19-year-old woman, a 26-year-old man, a 46-year-old woman, and a 73-year-old woman, reportedly sustained serious burn injuries to almost half of their bodies. The victims were immediately transported to local hospitals. Nearby residents initially heard a loud explosion before the fire took place.
