Hostess has voluntarily recalled 710,000 cases of different types of snacks due to a peanut allergy issue. Grain Craft, the brand’s flour supplier, recalled their own products after peanut residue was found in low levels. Traces of peanut residue, no matter how small, can cause severe allergic reactions in those allergic to peanuts. Two reactions have already been reported to the company.
Ding Dongs, Zingers, Chocodiles, and doughnuts are among the treats recalled by Hostess. The recalled snacks were sold in grocery and convenience stores in both Mexico and the United States. You can return the recalled product to the selling store to receive a full refund.
